Exporting Data to CSV

CSV export turns a search or a department rollup into a file you can drop straight into a spreadsheet — but it's a paid-tier feature, not part of the free trial.

Which plans include export

CSV export is available on the Single Tool Plus, 3-Tool License, and All Access plans. The base Single Tool tier and the free trial don't include it — if export is something you need regularly, Single Tool Plus is the minimum tier that unlocks it. See Choosing the Right Plan for the full comparison.

What gets exported

Exports reflect whatever search or view you're currently looking at — a single employee's career trajectory, a department rollup, or a filtered search result — as a structured CSV file, ready for a spreadsheet without any additional cleaning.

Why this is useful

The whole reason ALKARTIS exists is to avoid the manual work of pulling a 400,000-row raw file from OpenDataPhilly and pivoting it yourself. Export lets you take the already-cleaned, already-filtered view you built inside CompensationAtlas and continue the analysis in your own spreadsheet or reporting tool, without redoing that cleanup from scratch.

Frequently asked questions

Can I upgrade just to get export access?

Yes — upgrading from Single Tool to Single Tool Plus on the same product unlocks CSV export along with full historical archive access. See Upgrading or Changing Your Plan.

Is there a limit on how much I can export at once?

Exports are scoped to your current search or view rather than a bulk full-database dump — narrow your search first if you're after a specific slice of data.

Does TaxAssessmentIQ also support CSV export?

Export availability follows the same plan-tier rule across products — Single Tool Plus and above.
